Our story begins, and it is centering on their 15-year-old daughter, Alice Leoni. Let us just say that the heir to the throne is not the happiest person in the world, especially since she is stuck in the castle. While things come into the castle, such as her best friend / long time crush Jesse, she cannot go out. Her dad keeps her practically locked in the castle. Until one day she finally finds a way out.
It was another plain and boring day for Alice, she went to school, played with Jesse, and ate lunch with Jesse. Jesse was reading Alice’s book Rome and Juliet when all of a sudden Alice slams her Math book sighs and jumps on her bed. Jesse reluctantly asks her,
“Okay Alice what’s wrong, you love Math. Is this about your “B” again, because I have told you so many times you got that wrong 5 times 86 is 430 not 445.” Alice rolls her eyes sits on her bed and looks at him,
”Okay a) it is not about Math b) I told you the problem said 89 not 86 c) you make me sound like a nerd and d) I do not love Math I am just good at it.”
“Okay well if this is not about math,” he replied, completely confused on what this is about.
“What is this about?”
Alice gets up from her bed, walks to her door, closes it and sits back down.
“It is about the castle, I was thinking last night that I am tired of being stuck here, and last night while my dad was sleeping I snuck out of my room,”
“Alice! What? How could you do that? You could have gotten caught.”
Jesse was very glad that she had closed that door, but he knew that the look on her face meant that she wanted to do something that possibly could get her grounded for the rest of her life.
“Well, anyways as I was saying before you rudely interrupted me, we are going to sneak out through the basement, and luckily we are suppose to be there in 15 minutes to practice sword fighting so what I will do is instead of packing the swords in my bag, I will pack my clothes then we will sneak out of the window, go to your house and get your stuff.”
Jesse’s mouth was wide open he was completely shocked that she really was going to leave. She took his silence as a yes, and started to pack her stuff.
“Okay, but if I go we get to go to the places I want to go to.”
